Design Engineer - Autodesk Inventor - Wood & Metal - Events

Tockwith, North Yorkshire

£28,000 - £35,000 (DOE)

Information on the role

  • Produce 3D Models using Autodesk Inventor
  • Produce drawings for manufacturing & installation
  • Offer advanced design solutions on projects
  • Check drawings & ensure they are fit for purpose
  • Act as the lead on single & multi-disciplined projects
  • Liaise with the wider team & ensure coordinated engineering solutions
  • Mento & develop junior team members
  • Provide technical support to the Production Team

What we’d like from you

  • Qualified in relevant Engineering Degree/Discipline or proven industry knowledge
  • Understand the design process
  • Extensive knowledge of drafting standards
  • Design experience with Timber/Wood, Structural Steel, & Sheet Metal
  • Understand Joinery, Welding, Fabrication, & associated manufacturing processes
