We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Design and Technology Teacher to join a team at a secondary school in the Teesside area. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning in Design and Technology to students in KS3 to KS5. This is a Part-Time job. Your new role
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students to achieve their full potential in Design and Technology- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity, innovation and critical thinking
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support to help students achieve their learning goals
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and share best practice in teaching and learning, including the use of technology and other innovative approaches
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including participating in extracurricular activities and supporting school events and initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) in Design and Technology- Experience of teaching Design and Technology at KS3 to KS5 level
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching and learning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents/carers
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to embrace new technologies and teaching methodologies

Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 pro rata
