Are you an outstanding Design and Technology Teacher available after the Easter holidays?

Tradewind are currently recruiting for a Design and Technology Teacher to work at one of our Wigan client schools. This position is a long-term position of at least 1 term and will start after the Easter holidays. Our client school are looking for a Design and Technology Teacher to teach across KS3 and KS4, pay for this position, depending on experience, will be up to £211.96 per day.

The successful Design and Technology Teacher will be joining a Wigan 11-16 mixed comprehensive school with nearly 1200 students on roll. A school community with a common goal, striving for the highest standards in everything that they do. The Design and Technology department want to allow students to be creative and innovative. Design Technology at our client school aims to provide the knowledge, understanding and skills required to undertake an iterative design process of exploring, creating through making and evaluating which prepares them for the world they live in.

The essentials:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Design and Technology across KS3 and KS4
  • Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
  • Full and complete career history
  • Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
  • Legal right to work in the UK
