Design and Technology Teacher

If you are a Design and Technology Teacher that is happy to cover Textiles, Food Technology and Product Design (or equivalent), then I need to hear from you. As a Design and Technology Teacher you will be responsible for preparing the classroom according to the lesson plan. It is essential for the successful Design and Technology Teacher to have a comprehensive knowledge of health and safety. It would also be desirable for the selected Design and Technology Teacher to be First Aid trained.

The school understand that many vocational courses stem from Design and Technology subjects and the importance of giving pupils the opportunity to experience these subjects. As a Design and Technology Teacher you will often be support by an Art and Design Technician.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• The ability to teach the full Design and Technology Curriculum
• Have a comprehensive understanding of health and safety procedures
