Overall Purpose of the Role :

To deputize for the Security Manager during their absence and support the security team in the day-to-day smooth running of service operations.

The Deputy Security Manager is responsible for ensuring all events for the UAL sites are scheduled on the Timegate Scheduling Programme and fully manned with security, cleaning and maintenance personnel as per event requirements.

You will be working Monday to Friday occasionally on weekends(flexibility required), on a permanent full-time basis, 05:00 to 23:30, 40 hours per week.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To maintain rosters/schedules using the Timegate System, ensuring all security/cleaning personnel are entered for the correct event, days and tines of duty.
  • Ensure that all periods of sickness, absence and holidays are recorded and covered adequately by Trained Personnel.
  • Report all impending short falls in cover to the Security Manager and UAL Event Team.
  • To monitor training records and ensure up to date qualifications SIA licenses are recorded on Timegate supporting the Security Manager booking staff for refresher training matrix for the security team up to date.
  • Participate in any communication activities through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure that there is a free flow of ideas.
  • Ensure that you have received the necessary training so that you can competently carry out your duties and responsibilities.

Educational Level :

  • A good general level of education
  • Computer literate
  • Good verbal and written level of English is essential

Experience :

  • Knowledge of PC based rostering systems, Timegate and payroll systems
  • Knowledge of creating rosters to suit level of contractual requirements

Requirements :

  • SIA Door Supervisor License
  • CCTV License
