We are seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager to join their dynamic team and help them continue to set the standard for excellence in childcare.Job Description:

As the Deputy Nursery Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, educational, and nurturing environment for the children in our care. You will play a key role in leading the team, upholding our high childcare standards, and supporting ongoing professional development for staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Nursery Manager in overseeing the day-to-day running of the nursery, including staff management, administration, and financial tasks.
  • Ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained for all children.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the nursery team, promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning, providing support and feedback to staff as needed.
  • Maintain excellent communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and nursery events.
  • Work with the Nursery Manager to implement policies and procedures in line with regulations and company standards.
  • Support ongoing professional development for staff through training and coaching.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Early Childhood Studies, Childcare, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role within a nursery or childcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of early years pedagogy and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as needed.
  • Passion for working with children and commitment to their development and well-being.
