Deputy Manager - Children Residential Service

The Role:

Join our client’s team as the Deputy Manager for a children's residential home, where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). As part of the team, your contribution will directly impact the lives of these individuals in a nurturing and empowering environment.

Location: This role is based in Stone, which can be commutable from Stoke on Trent, Stafford, Newport and Eccleshall.

Pay: Enjoy a salary of up to £37,600 (DOE) plus a wide range of inviting benefits

Shift Pattern: Work on a work life balance friendly shift pattern which includes 2 on / 4 off!

The Company:

Search & Selection UK are proud to be working with a provider of specialist children services across the Midlands and North West of England.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Registered Manager in daily operations.

- Provide leadership and mentorship to our dedicated team.

- Ensure the delivery of exceptional care and support to the young residents.

- Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders.

- Maintain and develop the home's Good OFSTED rating by adhering to policies and procedures.

- Contribute to the ongoing development of individualised care plans.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role within a residential setting.

- Full UK driving licence

- Proven track record supporting young people with EBD.

- Strong leadership and communication skills.

- Attained or willing to pursue Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Residential Childcare (Equivalent).

- Flexibility to work in shift patterns.
