Job Summary: As Deputy Manager, you'll collaborate with the Registered Manager of our Residential Children's Home to oversee budget management, staff development, and maintain placement plans and assessments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to the home's mission
  • Knowledge of children's homes regulation 2015
  • knowledge of quality care standards and the SCCIF
  • Provide strong leadership for personalized childcare
  • Apply relevant legislation and regulations effectively
  • Implement and comply with quality standards, promptly addressing improvements post-inspections

Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills for effective communication
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Relevant skills like First Aid training are advantageous
