As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the registered manager in the day-to-day running of the home and developing the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the registered manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home.
- Lead a dedicated team using the Attachment and Trauma Informed Care (ATIC) model, ensuring children are respected, heard, and involved in their own lives.
- Implement therapeutic parenting principles to achieve outstanding outcomes for the children.
- Build strong rapport with children, providing a nurturing and loving environment where they can grow, learn, and thrive before moving on to a forever family.
- Participate in overnight stays ('sleep-ins') at the home, completing between 2 and 3 per week as part of the role.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a leadership role within a Children’s Residential Setting.
- Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (Level 5 leadership and management desirable).
- Proven track record with Ofsted and understanding of legislative framework and SCCIF.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
