A superb opportunity for an experienced deputy manager to work closely with the home manager at this lovely, luxurious, medium sized and purpose built residential and dementia care home which is part of a very well respected and successful care provider, has arisen .

The home has a Good CQC and a superb reputation locally

The home is a medium sized home and is state of the art

Set in a superb location you will be supported by a team of unit managers and carers

Working 40 hours per week mostly supernumerary hours you will work very closely with the Registered manager and deputise in her absence and lead your team in ensuring quality care is given to all residents . You will work closely with the staff and be expected to be a 'hands on' and proactive manager. This is a super opportunity for an experienced deputy manager who is looking for 'the next step' in their career or a registered manager looking for a step back.

Liaising with families , GPs and other health care Professionals you will ensure you demonstrate kindness and professionalism and have a good knowledge of care standards, audits, medication, Dols etc.

You will be/ have

Have supervisory/management experience

a background in care management gained within an elderly care home

You will be a self starter able to motivate your team and ensure the excellent quality of care this provider is known for is delivered

You will have excellent knowledge of care standards and be passionate about dementia care
