Do you have Systems Engineering experience within critical national infrastructure, defence or nuclear sectors? Do you want to work on exciting safety critical projects? If so, we have a great opportunity working for an established engineering consultancy who’s specialism is bridging the gap between strategy and operations. They are looking for people who can lead others and want to use their safety and engineering knowledge in a systems engineering environment to shape projects.

As a Deputy Lead Systems Consultant, You will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of complex decision analysis projects for clients within the critical national infrastructure (CNI) and potentially the civil nuclear sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant contribution to our organisation and its critical national security mission.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage teams of junior consultants on assigned decision analysis projects.
  • Work closely with project managers and clients to understand project requirements, define scope, and develop effective decision analysis frameworks.
  • Translate complex technical information into clear and concise insights for decision-makers.
  • Develop and present compelling recommendations and visualizations to support informed decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of team processes and methodologies.
  • Liaise with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Manage workload effectively and meet deadlines to a high standard.

  • A Systems Engineer or System Thinking expert (ideally Chartered status) who is comfortable applying Systems/Digital Twin approaches to both complex defence equipment and holistic dynamic models of enterprises, market sectors and government policy areas.
  • Full UK Security Clearance (SC) with continued eligibility is mandatory.
