Delivery Manager - Financial Services

Manchester, 2-3 days per week in office

£75,000 - £80,000

This is a Delivery Manager role for a market leading insurer who provide a wide range of specialty insurance products for corporations, professional firms and financial institutions.

As the Delivery Manager you’ll be working alongside the Head of Change to lead the overall delivery and deployment of Transformation projects and programmes, with specific responsibility of operational / continuous improvement practices and routines in order to deliver sustainable results identified through the strategic planning process.

You will need to build strong relationships with the key partners in the specific business units, supporting stakeholders in that area to understand their processes, assess performance and identify opportunities and clear actions that will form the basis of continuous improvement. You’ll be acting as an ambassador for continuous improvement across the business, ensuring that the core principles are understood and embedded, delivering sustainable improvements for the customers and business.

Experience wise, we’re looking for someone with a proven history of delivering transformation initiatives across a range of different business functions and who is familiar and experienced with Lean / Problem Solving tools such as Lean / Six Sigma / Black Belt. You don't necessarily need to come from an Insurance background, but wider Financial Services will be preferred.
