Delegated Authority Technician

What the day will look like

In this wide and varied role your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting established governance processes to manage all Structured Portfolio Solutions (SPS), including binding authorities, line slips and third party cover holder compliance.
  • Collaborating with the GBC teams and delivering a high quality and efficient service to enable growth and transition of portfolio mix.
  • Providing efficient delivery of core transactional service activities.
  • Providing administrative and operational support, proactively assisting in the day to day running of SPS.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Experience of working in a Delegated Underwriting / Binding Authority role
  • Experience working for a Lloyds Syndicate or broker
  • Good communication skills.
  • In depth technical insurance knowledge.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service.
  • Strong understanding of compliance and ability to adhere to FSA regulation
