Service Care Legal are currently working alongside a Local Authority, based in the Gloucestershire, which is in need of a keen Paralegal to join their Debt Recovery team. This role is an autonomous position so please only apply if you have debt recovery experience.

Role: Paralegal - Debt Recovery

Location: Gloucestershire, largely remote with office attendance once a week

Contract Length: 7 months ongoing

Rate: £15-£18ph

The Role:

  • Assist a team of Solicitors and other paralegals with Debt recovery cases
  • Handle your own Debt Recovery caseloads concerning non-complex matters
  • Deal with litigation claims to include deceased matters under supervision
  • Perform any duties necessary in order to facilitate the successful running of the team

The Person:

  • Someone with 6 months of experience as a Paralegal in a Debt Recovery Legal team
  • Have knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and pre-action protocols from issue to settlement, costs and enforcement.
  • Any Local Authority legal experience would be highly advantageous
