Urgently seeking - Income Recovery Officer / Debt Recovery/Accounts Receivables Officer

Location: Hounslow/Hybrid 

We are currently looking for an Income Recovery Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of Accounts Receivable Services, including debt collection, in line with our service levels and key performance indicators. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with a professional attitude who can work efficiently under pressure.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver Accounts Receivable Service (debt collection) in accordance with set service levels and key performance indicators.
  • Take responsibility for the recovery of sundry and leasehold income, including major works debt, care debt, and former tenant arrears.
  • Handle referrals and liaise with solicitors for the legal recovery of income.
  • Assist Senior Officers of the Accounts Receivable team with the day-to-day management and delivery of the service.
  • Work in an organised, systematic, and efficient manner, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times.
  • Manage own workload with minimal supervision and assist other team members to deliver to timescales.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in Sundry and Leasehold Income Recovery and handling simple to complex enquiries.
  • Familiarity with Business World On or OHMS (housing management system) is preferable.
  • Ability to run performance reports and Business Objects reports is an advantage.
  • Excellent numerical and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Capability of managing a very high volume of work within limited timeframes.
  • Proficiency in all office applications is essential.
