Dynamic law firm in Wigan are currently seeking a dedicated Executive/Fee Earner to join their Housing Debt Recovery Team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment with a focus on housing possession matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Section 8 and Section 21 possession proceedings, including drafting notices, issuing claims, and coordinating enforcement actions.
  • Conduct thorough case reviews and maintain accurate documentation throughout the possession process.
  • Provide comprehensive support to solicitors and legal professionals within the team, assisting with case preparation and documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, tenants, and external stakeholders to gather relevant information and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and procedural guidelines in housing possession matters.
  • Participate in training and development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in housing debt recovery procedures.

Requirements:

  • Some experience of housing debt recovery is preferred but not essential.
  • The ideal candidate will need experience of working in a legal environment, as an experienced paralegal or fee earner.
  • The firm will consider someone seeking a retrain. Relevant skills and experience required for this.
