Position Available: DCASO Instructor

Our esteemed client, a vast training provider within the Defence sector, is presently seeking a DCASO Instructor. In this pivotal role, you will undertake the vital responsibility of training, nurturing, and equipping prospective Air Operations (Control) personnel. This is stationed at RAF Shawbury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting refresher training sessions for controllers returning to the Terminal environment after absence.
  • Delivering training up to the standards mandated by the Officer Commanding Air Traffic Control Training Squadron.
  • Adhering to the RAF Shawbury Supervisory Care Directive.
  • Providing performance coaching to foster a constructive learning atmosphere that bolsters the confidence of all trainees.

Job Requirements:

  • Prior experience in military terminal controlling is essential.
  • Qualification in accordance with JSP 822 is mandatory.
  • Recent proficiency in offering Terminal Air Traffic Services within UK airspace under the Military Aviation.
  • Recent experience as a trainer in an ATC training environment, meeting the customer's criteria for acceptability.
