Day Warehouse Team Leader Dispatch - - Distribution/Logistics - Biggleswade

Salary up to £30-32k plus benefits

Job Purpose:

To Ensure an efficient flow across the warehouse and preparing products for dispatch in to the overnight network

administration of the day-to-day warehouse dispatch operation on a customer based location.

Accountabilities:

Accountabilities:

  • Monitoring and communicating status of orders for dispatch.
  • Daily monitoring of critical timings for sorting and load schedule progression.
  • Ensuring all out going products are palletised or caged for dispatch to national hub.
  • Communicating with other internal departments and on site customers.
  • Ensuring the work area is H & S compliant and tidy at all times.
  • Maintain and perform record keeping and timely processing of information.
  • Assisting other departments with admin work and general administration duties

  • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm whilst still maintaining attention to detail. Ability to prioritise,
  • multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • The ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative. A self-starter with a hands-on,
  • pragmatic approach.
