We are delighted to present an exceptional opportunity for a well-established charity in Salisbury.

This position is for a Day Support Worker. You will play a crucial role in providing a safe and secure haven for individuals with mental health issues and at risk of homelessness. The project caters to both males and females aged 18 and above.

Working within a hostel environment, your primary responsibility will be to deliver frontline support, empowering our clients and enhancing their independence. To thrive in this role, you must possess a proactive approach and excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively address a range of issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the permanent staff member to address client inquiries promptly and efficiently.
  • Handle incoming phone calls, providing assistance and relevant information to callers.
  • Work closely with individuals to identify their unique needs and develop tailored support plans.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate notes, ensuring smooth communication and seamless handovers between staff members.
  • Conduct regular health and safety checks by patrolling the building and monitoring the CCTV system.
