Salary £60,000-£65,000

PostgreSQL, SQL Server and AWS experience required.

I am recruiting an SQL database administrator! The successful candidate will work in the Data Services team alongside other departments to develop strong and accountable relationships with Staff and Partners in order to deliver excellent service to their clients. THE SUCCESSESFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE SQL Server, AWS and POSTGRESQL EXPERIENCE TO A HIGH LEVEL.

Key responsibilities for this role will include analysing partner data to develop an understanding of performance and to highlight possible changes or opportunities to increase performance and partner growth, working alongside and collaborate with Service Desk and Delivery to ensure processes and communication are clear and aligned and identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to resolve.

Required skills/experience required-

• Good technical knowledge of databases and query languages
• Be able to understand, communicate, interpret information with IT to manage, report, assist in the build of performance reporting
• Adept with organising and prioritising work commitments and hitting tight deadlines
• Experienced in identifying and analysing trends whilst providing solutions to problems
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working in a team
• Good understanding of customer service
• To be willing to keep up to date with any changes in data protection laws and database technologies

Technical skills-

• PostgreSQL to a high level
• Microsoft SQL Server knowledge to a high level
• AWS
• T-SQL/SQL knowledge to a high level
• Distributed source control systems (Git, Mercurial etc.)
