Datacomms Engineer required by a leading provider of Satellite Communications. Our client have a global presence including offices in 10 countries and have 250 staff globally. Our client are debt free, in a financially strong position and continue to grow their operations further.

This role requires the successful Datacomms Engineer will support all types of data communications which involve the use of devices for routing and switching. The successful candidate will also provide support for MOD/GOV systems encompassing design, build, install, and testing. Experience of Cryptographic equipment is also important to have.

The essential skills and experience are:

  • Satellite Communications experience (Satcoms) with a focus on DVB or Inmarsat
  • Awareness of MOD systems
  • IT and Network skills including network installation and understanding of networks including routers and switches.
