Data Scientist - Fully-remote - £55,000

Avanti Recruitment is working with an innovative technology company that create threat detection, around client sites including airports, prisons, and major sporting arenas with plans to expand to even more exciting areas. You will be involved in working advanced projects, developing systems, with the opportunity to grow, learn and join their exciting journey, which is only just starting!

They are looking for someone with a strong academic background, who is passionate about Machine Learning, as this role will focus heavily on this. Experience with Image Analytics is a plus, but they are open to viewing profiles from different industries and years of experience is not a deal breaker. They work a remote model, with quarterly meetups.

Experience:

  • Proficiency in Python, including experience constructing, testing, and deploying standard Machine Learning and neural network models.
  • Familiarity with a range of tools and libraries, including but not limited to Matlab, C#/C++, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.

Desirable:

  • Advanced degrees and industry experience.
  • Experience in Algorithm Research or Product Development
  • Degree in Maths, Physics, Engineering etc.
  • Experience with MLOps

The company are offering a salary up to £55,000 plus a pension scheme, medical insurance, life assurance, buy up to 5 days of extra holiday and an employee referral scheme.
