Data Protection Solicitor

Are you a commercially focused data protection solicitor looking for a new challenge? I am working with a highly regarded Legal 100 firm in London as it expands the esteemed corporate department. This exciting role offers part-time flexibility, with the potential for increased hours over time.

The Role:

• Working closely with partners of the firm, you will sit within the Corporate department focusing on GDPR/Data Protection assessments
• Reviewing, drafting, and advising on privacy documents
• Conducting Legitimate Interest Assessment and Data Protection Impact Assessments
• Advising on data breaches, international data transfers, and data subject rights
• Performing due diligence on UK GDPR compliance in corporate transactions
• Providing counsel on Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and electronic direct marketing
• Drafting cookie policies

About You:

• You should have at least 2 years' experience in UK GDPR/data protection
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written communication skills
• Flexibility, dedication, and a commercial approach
• The ability to work proactively and reactively under pressure
• Quick comprehension of complex issues and the application of legal knowledge to client requirements
