DATA PROTECTION OFFICER

~SOUTHAMPTON

HYBRID

We are recruiting for a Data Protection Officer for a client that is a charity based on the south coast of England. You will be working in a small team to ensure that the business complies with data protection laws.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Owning your day-to-day tasks, including managing data breaches and adhering to data subject requests.
  • Liaising with senior stakeholders across the organisation to gather and deliver on requirements.
  • Taking part in regular training and workshops to continuously develop and progress and stay updated with the latest laws and regulations.
  • Advising on compliance procedures to ensure risks are mitigated.

THE BENEFITS:

The selected candidate will receive a salary between £30,000 - £35,000 depending on their experience and requirements.
