Data Protection Consultant

Financial Advisor are looking for a data protection consultant for a 6 month contract to take the firm through a certification process, bringing it into a more compliant state, and taking a business through GDPR. You will be there to lead on implementing a comprehensive data protection and compliance program.

Please note this is outside IR35 and is fully remote.

THE ROLE

The data protection consultant will be responsible for delivering:

• Implementing a comprehensive data protection compliance program.
• Conducting data protection audits and risk assessments.
• Identifying and addressing any data protection gaps or vulnerabilities.
• Advise on and implement data protection best practices.
• Liaise with external regulatory bodies and senior stakeholders on data protection matters.

YOU

The ideal data protection consultant will have experience of:

• Implementing a data protection compliance program in a Financial Services Firm
• Have practical experience of GDPR and CCPA
• Knowledge of risk/security frameworks such as ISO27001, PCI DSS
• Knowledge of data security best practices
• Have strong stakeholder management experience across all levels
