Insurance Data Modeler

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Location: 2 days per week in London office

Overview: You will join a modernization program as an Insurance Data Modeler, playing a pivotal role in enhancing analytics and business operations. This position requires expertise in data modeling within insurance, particularly in data products environments. Familiarity with Data Vault and Data Mesh principles is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with insurance industry standards.

* Contribute to the modernization program by implementing Data Vault and Data Mesh principles.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design appropriate solutions.

* Ensure data models meet scalability, performance, and security requirements.

* Provide expertise on data modeling best practices within the insurance domain.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Data Modeler within the insurance industry.

* Familiarity with Data Vault methodology and its application in insurance data environments.

* Knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling concepts.

* Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.

* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

* Experience with Snowflake or Azure data platforms.

* Previous involvement in insurance data modernization initiatives.
