Annual Salary: S29 – S32 (£40,773 – £44,062) including inner London allowance

Contract: Permanent, full-time, 52 weeks a year

Start date: As soon as possible

Aston Education is working with an 11-18 secondary school in Southwark, Southeast London (inner London), looking for a permanent Data Manager to start as soon as possible.

As the Data Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic and effective management of all data and reporting systems across the school. 

You will be responsible for the curation and analysis of data and you will carry out research, write reports, and manage 3rd party reporting systems (such as Power Bi) which empowers users to undertake their own analysis.

You will oversee the storage of data in the school’s MIS (Arbor) and provide reports, as requested, for all stakeholders.

You will ensure school data systems are compliant with GDPR and contribute to the leadership and development of the Data & Examinations Team.

You will also be responsible for the management of pupil and staff timetables.

Experience and skills required:

• Experience in the role of a Data Manager in a secondary school
• Degree or industry qualification in Data Management / Data Analysis
• Experience using Arbor, Power Bi and Excel
• Experience using SISRA and CPOMS (or willingness to learn)
• Strong data analysis skills
• Strong knowledge of secondary school accountability measures
• Experience of timetable management
• Good knowledge of Data Security
