Position - Data / Infrastructure Engineer (Azure DevOps)

Location - Remote working (office in Reading)

Salary - Up to £65,000 DOE

Background:

La Fosse have been engaged by a fast-growing challenger Insurance brand in their hunt for an ambitious engineer with a strong understanding of SQL Databases to join their DevOps function in an Integrations remit

Why this role?:

This role is part of the business's need for growth due to their continuing success and expansion within their Azure Estate, as they move from a Monolithic to Microservices Architecture.

You'll be given important responsibilities with a SQL DBA remit that will evolve over time.

You'll also be joining a remote but highly collaborative team that are always looking for opportunities to offer experience and progression.

You'd need the following for this role:

• Equivalent of 4-5 years SQL DBA experience including performance and data tuning, alongside monitoring services
• Experience with Linux OS
• Solid grasp of Azure and appreciation of creating software delivery pipelines using Microsoft Azure
• Ability to convey ideas around solutions clearly
