Are you looking for a career in Data Engineering?

Our client who is a Fintech is on the lookout for Junior Data Engineers to become an integral part of their team based in Blackpool. They have multiple roles available; some are junior-level (0-3 years in Data Engineering) and others are mid-level (3-6 years in Data Engineering). In these roles you'll be responsible for supporting the implementation and migration of data solutions internally, ensuring the quality of integration platforms, and creating ETL packages. If you have a passion for Data, and some experience with SQL then just apply!

Key Responsibilities:
Learn and develop skills in T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and traditional MS-Stack technology
Create database solutions catering to the specific needs of clients and customers
Support the Data Operations Team Leader with legacy systems while proactively contributing to the development of novel client and customer processes
Implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions utilizing T-SQL

Learn the integration of internal financial systems
Create ETL packages, using established standards and designing new pipelines and tasks
Ensure the excellence of the overall client integration platform, focusing on reusability and performance enhancement

Desirable skills/experience:

T-SQL and SQL

A degree or hands-on experience in Data integration or Data Analytics

T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and traditional MS-Stack technology

Azure Databricks

SSIS/SSRS

Qualifications:
Some knowledge of a few of the following; T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and traditional MS-Stack technology.
Aptitude for astute analysis and creative problem-solving.
