Data Engineer - 3 Months - £350 Per Day - Outside IR35 - Remote

Chapman Tate Associates are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join a small team to play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring the smooth flow of data from various sources. You will work with cutting-edge technologies, particularly focusing on Azure tools such as Azure Logic Apps and Synapse Apps. Your responsibilities will include investigating data anomalies, implementing corrective measures, and generating detailed reports to enhance product line efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure tools, specifically Azure Logic Apps and Synapse Apps.
  • Work closely with APIs to integrate data from diverse sources and ensure data integrity.
  • Utilize investigative skills to identify and address anomalies in data flow and quality.
  • Implement corrective measures to resolve data discrepancies and optimize data processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Generate comprehensive reports on product line details, receipt exceptions, and reporting issues.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering to continuously improve processes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with Azure tools, specifically Azure Logic Apps and Synapse Apps.
  • Strong understanding of APIs and data integration techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database management systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices is desirable.
