Data Engineer - SQL, Python

Major UK firm is looking for an additional Data Engineer (SQL) to join their growing Data team. Within this varied role you will take ownership of BI and Data related projects which will see you making full use of your reporting, analysis and visualisation skills. The positon will see you creating data pipeline architecture and assembling large and complex data sets that meet the group’s requirements. This is an exciting role working for a globally regognised company and can offer you exposure to the latest big data and cloud technologies.

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer / Data Analyst who has solid SQL skills and ideally some exposure to using Python. Big data tools like Hadoop, Kafka or Spark would be ideal as would experience with AWS. Strong communication and business facing skills are key as you will play a key role in coaching junior members of staff and helping the business really make the most of their data.

This is a hybrid role with 1 day a week spent in Milton Keynes. On offer is a solid package including a basic of up to £60,000, a bonus, great pension scheme and other perks like private healthcare.
