An excellent opportunity has arisen for Data Cabling & AV Installation Engineers to join an IT Solutions Provider.

Data Cabling & AV Installation Engineer – Immediate Start

• Full Time, Permanent
• £25,000 - £29,000 OTE dependent on experience
• Nationwide travel Required **Company Van Provided**

The role:

You will work alongside one of the Cablers for the Data Cabling, AV (BenQ, Viewsonic Smart, Clever Touch) installations or, alternatively, create a further team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Fitting interactive whiteboards and projectors at schools
• Fitting large interactive screens such as BenQ, Viewsonic, CleverTouch, Smart etc
• Data cabling – Cat 5/E and Cat /E Etc
• Fibre optic cabling
• Door entry system installations
• CCTV installation

What you’ll need

• Data Cabling, Cat 5/E, Cat 6/E and Fibre Optic Cable
• Previous experience within Audio Visual installations preferred
• Electrician Qualifications would be an advantage but not essential
• Confident in the use of power and hand tools (drills, screwdrivers etc)
• Capable of working on ladders and scaffolds
• Full clean driving licence would be advantageous but a carpool is available
• Valid Driving Licence (For vans also) would be advantageous but a carpool is available
• CSCS (Construction Skills Certificate) would be advantageous

Additional information

Early starts and occasional late finishes may be required as would possible weekend work. There may also be the requirement for overnight stay (up to 2 nights) so flexibility is required.
