Attega Are looking for either an experienced Damper engineer or a vent worker who is looking to get into a new career as a Damper Engineer.
The successful Damper Engineer will work for our client who specialise in Dampers within London & surrounding areas.
In this role, the successful Damper Engineer will be working on site at customer locations to troubleshoot, maintain and repair smoke and fire damper equipment within ventilation systems. After some on-the-job training, your technical, mechanical and/or electrical skills will be used on every visit across new and challenging situations, equipment and locations. You will be responsible for meeting the daily service maintenance and repair needs of our customers’ damper equipment and establishing firm business relationships through the provision of excellent customer service.
This successful Damper Engineer will be hired as a permanent employee and the position offers:
- Company van, phone tablet etc
- Time and third for weekday evenings
- Time and a half Saturday up until 12pm
- Double pay Saturday afternoon all day Sunday
- Training provided
- Pension after probation
- Annual leave
Responsibilities:
- Have the ability to identify fire compartmentation boundaries without the aid of drawings or
- Carrying out maintenance, repair, commissioning and service support to a range of smoke/fire dampers and control panels as well as ventilation
- Communicating technical information and site requirements back to the Service
- Fault
- Liaising and developing working relationships both with the customer and other employees within the company.
- Completion of relevant paperwork; including but not limited to; Service Reports, Tick Sheets and
