Dynamics 365 F&O Release, Test & Control Lead

You as the Dynamics 365 F&O Release, Test & Control Lead are responsible for managing the planning, execution, and control of system releases, testing activities, and compliance measures within D365 solutions.

This role ensures the reliability, security, and performance of systems through rigorous testing and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of system releases, testing activities, and system controls with a focus on compliance with the IT change management process for both Dynamics 365 F&O and HR solutions.
• Collaborate with finance, commercial, HR SMEs, Partners, and IT change management teams to review proposed changes, assess impact, and obtain approvals in accordance with change management procedures.
• Develop release plans, test strategies, and system control frameworks that incorporate change management requirements and compliance standards across both F&O and HR platforms, ensuring alignment with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead regression testing efforts, working closely with Partners, and relevant business stakeholders to validate changes, identify potential risks, and ensure that system functionalities remain intact across both F&O and HR solutions.
• Implement and manage change controls, including documentation, approvals, and communication processes, collaborating with IT change management teams to ensure compliance with change management procedures and standards.
• Communicate release schedules, test results, and change management updates to finance, commercial, HR stakeholders, IT change management teams, and other relevant stakeholders, providing transparency and alignment with organisational policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Partners and business SMEs to address any change-related challenges or dependencies related to release management, testing, or system controls, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations across both F&O and HR domains.
• Proactively identify opportunities for improving change management processes, release procedures, and testing methodologies to enhance compliance, reduce risk, and increase business agility across both F&O and HR platforms.

Stakeholder Engagement
• Engage finance, commercial, and HR SMEs in discussions and workshops to review proposed changes, assess impact, and obtain approvals in accordance with change management procedures and compliance standards.
• Collaborate closely with finance, commercial, and HR stakeholders, Partners, and IT change management teams to validate release plans, test strategies
• Solicit feedback and input from finance, commercial, and HR SMEs during testing activities, leveraging expertise from Partners and relevant stakeholders to address change-related risks or dependencies and ensure comprehensive test coverage across both F&O and HR platforms.
• Provide regular updates and progress reports to finance, commercial, and HR stakeholders, IT change management teams, and other relevant stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, change management considerations, and recommendations for improvement across both F&O and HR domains.
• Actively engage finance, commercial, and HR SMEs in discussions on change impact assessments, implementation plans, and risk mitigation strategies, seeking input and feedback to ensure successful change management and compliance across both platforms
