Cyber Security Technical Writer (ISO27001) – London/Remote - £65,000-£75,000 -12 mth FTC

My client are a leading light in the specialist Insurance industry all around the globe. With a fantastic office in Central London due to ambitious plans we are looking to bring on a Cyber Security Technical Writer (ISO27001)to join the team on an initial 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

As the newCyber Security Technical Writer (ISO27001) you will report to the Head of IT Governance, Risk and compliance and will be responsible for developing and maintaining policies, standards and guilds and other documentation in support of the Information Security programme. Most importantly will be documenting ISO 27001 and CIS control frameworks.

On a daily basis theCyber Security Technical Writer (ISO27001) will be responsible for:

  • Work with the cybersecurity team to obtain an in-depth understanding of Chaucer's cyber and information security requirements, most importantly those related to ISO 27001 and CIS control (v8) frameworks.
  • Develop, update, and maintain high-quality and easy-to-understand policies, standard operating procedures, standards, guides, and other documentation that is appropriate for its intended audience and in support of the requirements of the information security programme.
  • Revise, review or modify documents prepared by others.
  • Create tutorials to help end-users understand the importance of cyber and information security.

If you are an experienced Cyber Security Technical Writer (ISO27001)who has previous experience documenting ISO 27001 then this could be fantastic role for you. Whilst this is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract there is possibility of a further year and you will be entitled to excellent benefits and hybrid working. Interested?
