Altum Consulting are currently working with a large multi-national that successfully completed on a large acquisition this year and have mobilised the integration management office to drive synergies and efficiencies across people, process, technology and data.

We are currently recruiting a Cutover Manager to join on an initial 6 month engagement to plan and execute an effective cutover strategy to ensure minimal disruption to the organisation as they migrate the acquisition into their SAP environment.

  • Develop comprehensive cutover plans that outline all required steps for migration, including timelines and resources needed.
  • Ensure that plans are robust, achievable, and well-communicated to all stakeholders.
  • Identify potential risks associated with the cutover process and develop mitigation strategies to address these risks. Ensuring system designs balance both functional and non-functional requirements
  • Act as the primary point of contact between project teams. Ensure that all parties are aligned and informed throughout the cutover process.
  • Lead the execution of the cutover plan, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary to address any issues that arise during the transition.
  • Provide support after the cutover is complete, ensuring that any post-deployment tasks are managed effectively and that the system operates as intended.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale SAP cutover initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills and experience in stakeholder management.
  • Experience on merger integrations is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Additional information

  • Hybrid working 2 days on site in West Midlands
  • £600 - £700/day Inside IR35
  • Initial 6 month engagement on a 1 year+ programme
