A Customer Support and Commissioning Engineer with broad technical knowledge and good fault- finding skills will play a key role in supporting an award winning technology company in the field. Travelling Worldwide on a regular basis, you’ll possess strong customer facing skills and will thrive on solving complex technical problems.

The successful Customer Support and Commissioning Engineer will be fully trained over a 3 month period at the Cambridge offices on all the company products, prior to undertaking field trips as required, with most trips lasting 5+ days. Nightly allowance will be paid for trips of more than 5 nights. When not travelling, you will be based in the Cambridge office where you’ll provide customer support and update procedural documentation.

The company: An established design and manufacturing Company which produces a range of thermal imaging equipment for use by military, security, industrial and law enforcement. Enjoying continued success for their ground breaking technology, they have been recognized with several awards for innovation.

The ideal candidate: With a formal Engineering qualification, and a background involving customer support and fault diagnosis for a range of electro-mechanical systems, as part of an International Commissioning team, you’ll bring excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver operational and maintenance training where needed.
