Customer Supply Chain & Logistics Manager - €60,000 - €70,000 + Excellent Benefits - North West England - Hybrid (50:50)

As the Customer Logistics Development Manager, you'll be at the forefront of shaping and developing the customer strategy and logistics partnerships. This is a pivotal role where you'll collaborate closely with the Group CS & Logistics Director to drive impactful change and ensure the company remains a market leader.

What You'll Do:

  • Strategic Customer Collaboration: Spearhead initiatives to identify and deliver collaborative opportunities with the largest group customers, driving mutual value and loyalty such as cost-to-serve projects, sustainability and network design initiatives
  • Leadership: Chair & manage divisional meetings across business units and functions to ensure alignment and proactive response to market dynamics and ensure the long term success of the Customer Service/Logistics Strategy.
  • Operational Model Review - Develop and execute strategies to shape a best-in-class supply chain, leveraging internal and external assets incl 3PL networks to maintain a competitive advantage. Partner with key stakeholders to optimise warehouse and transport networks, balancing capacity, resilience, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop high performing teams: Develop a positive, innovative, customer-centric team, who delivers customer excellence, managing through a mentoring and coaching approach

Key skills and experience required?

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with a strategic mindset able to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels including at a senior level
  • Demonstrable track record of identifying and leading customer collaboration projects specifically within Logistics
  • Exceptional experience driving logistics transformational change initiatives, with a hands-on approach to project management and execution.
  • Knowledge of working within European markets, driving strategic logistics improvement specifically with European Retailers or FMCGs
  • Languages: Fluency in English AND German OR French will be required for this role.
