Customer Services Manager – Doncaster – Up to £30,000

Chase & Holland are proud to be working exclusively with a successful manufacturing business in the Doncaster area who are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Customer Service professional to join their team.

This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking team, where you’ll work closely with the Technical Support Manager to provide effective planning, customer service and reporting to ensure service delivery is met within a timely manner and to a high standard.

Customer Services Manager Responsibilities:
  • Working cooperatively across various departments including Technical, Marketing and Field Engineering to ensure effective and timely customer service communications
  • Scheduling field-based engineer works alongside the Technical Support Manager
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all customer queries
  • Overseeing customer issues from the first point of contact through to conclusion, liaising with relevant colleagues in order to provide accurate and timely solutions
  • Attending online and face-to-face meetings with customers as necessary
  • Utilising Excel skills to prepare and run reports for regular internal meetings
  • Documenting customer issues and developing accurate audit trails
  • Liaising with third part contractors where necessary to plan and manage installations
  • Identifying improvement opportunities and implementing on approval
  • Overseeing one direct report, ensuring objectives are clear and met
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience within a similar role, supervisory/management experience is desirable
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the drive to deliver a high level of service
  • IT literate with the ability to utilise Excel for reporting purposes
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload to meet objectives
