This position is for a dedicated Customer Service Supervisor in the FMCG industry, based in Chester. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team in providing exceptional customer service and building strong client relationships.

Description

This exciting role will design, implement and lead the Customer Service process:

  • In the early stages of the role you'll be working with global counterparts to capture and implement a process for the UK customer strategy (focused on complex manufactured products)
  • Subject Matter Expert lead of SAP implementation
  • B2B Customer Service management for customer journey - working with customers from Order through to Payment and supporting with all inbetween
  • Forecasting customer requirements and planning of stock
  • Work within the SLT to represent the customer in business decisions
  • Longer term: to Recruit, supervise and lead a customer service team
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Develop client service procedures, policies and standards
  • Implement an effective customer loyalty programme
  • Handle complex customer complaints and enquiries
  • Conduct team meetings and provide performance feedback
  • Prepare reports and analyse customer service data
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery

Profile

A successful Customer Service Supervisor should have:

  • Proven experience in a customer service team lead or leadership role
  • Experience with implementing systems and processes
  • Comfortable with system implementations or upgrades on SAP
  • A real expert in managing order processing through to invoice queries for business customers
  • Currently working for a household brand and working with retail customers would be advantageous
  • Strong understanding of customer service techniques and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills
  • A demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service

Job Offer

  • An annual salary ranging from £40,500 to £60,500
