Customer Service Specialist

£23,000

Monday to Friday 8 - 5pm

Birmingham (South)

The Customer Excellence Team are committed to the delivery of exceptional customer service. We are looking for someone who loves working with customers, who enjoys working in a fast-paced team and who pride themselves on doing the best they can for each customer.

Reporting to the Customer Excellence Manager, this role will involve working across a variety of contact channels including phone, email, web, and social media. You will provide professional, high quality, efficient service to our customers and colleagues across the business.

Your areas of responsibilities:

  • Handling customer orders; ensuring stock allocation and delivery slot availability.
  • Resolving delivery and service issues, including liaising with all relevant departments to ensure customer service excellence.
  • Providing feedback and support to branches, sales, and credit services teams.
  • Investigating non-conforming processes to resolve complaints and reduce future errors.
  • Responding to general enquiries and feedback through our website and via review platforms including Trust Pilot and Google reviews.

Essential:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good IT skills, able to use multiple systems and processes while dealing with complex customer issues.
  • Organised, methodical, with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent planning and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Inquisitive personality- always looking for the best solution for the customer.
  • A background in customer services, customer experience or complex service support is desirable.
