CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST (FINANCIAL SERVICES)

We are delighted to working with our client based in Chester who are expanding their Savings team with a Customer Service Specialist. Our client is a unique and growing business within the financial services sector, who pride themselves on being a customer-focussed business who champion the financial health of their industry.

WHAT'S YOU WILL WANT TO KNOW:

  • Salary is £25,000 per annum.
  • Working hours of Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm
  • Initially office based and after probationary period you can choose to work from home one day per week
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and the ability to buy or sell holidays.

A SNAPSHOT OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST’S DAY:

  • Working in the busy customer service department providing exceptional support to existing customers via phone, email, and webchat
  • Become a savings product expert to enable you to support and advise savers with their enquiries.
  • Opening accounts for your customers as well as assisting them with paying in and out, their statements and managing the maturity process.
  • Take ownership of customers by focussing on activities such as converting enquiries to opened accounts.
  • Escalate any issues and share feedback from customers with the wider team / other departments in the business as required.
  • Document your calls and communications in detail on the system.
  • Work towards positive team and individual targets including NPS, customer surveys and positive customer reviews.
  • Work with the wider team to ensure a first-class service is received by all of customers.

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE A GOOD FIT FOR YOU?

Please read on for the essential skills our client is hoping you will be able to showcase:

  • At least 3 years’ experience within a customer service focussed role.
  • Financial services experience is highly desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a genuine desire to help customers.
  • The ability to work productively under pressure.
  • The desire to want to continue learning new products / services and developing your skills.
  • Reliability and honesty are essential.
  • Knowledge of regulatory processes within financial services and / or the agriculture industry would be beneficial.
