We are currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our client's team as a Customer Service Representative. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the finance industry and make a positive impact by supporting our client's existing and prospective savers.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to savers and prospective savers through various communication channels including telephone, email, secure message, and webchat. You will need to develop a strong understanding of our client's savings products and services in order to assist customers with their queries effectively.

Salary: upto £25,000 - although this is negotiable dependant on experience

Location: Chester - a minutes walk from Chester train station

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9-5.30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to savers and prospective savers through various communication channels.
  • Continually develop knowledge of our client's savings products and services.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of customer information and system updates.
  • Escalate any issues or feedback to the Savings Customer Services Manager.
  • Document details of calls and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve customer queries and issues quickly.
  • Support the savings team in meeting funding requirements.
  • Focus on activities that convert prospective savers to opened accounts and retain existing savers.
  • Propose initiatives to improve customer service, efficiency, and satisfaction.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in customer services, preferably in a financial services environment.
  • Knowledge of anti-money laundering and know your customer regulations.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Desire to continually develop and improve.
  • Reliable, honest, and a team player.

Desirable:

  • Experience working within a bank or financial services company.
  • Knowledge of regulatory policies in the financial services sector.
  • Knowledge of agriculture is a plus.
