Salary circa £24k-£26k depending upon experience

Permanent - 8.30-5.00 Monday to Friday

Our client is an award winning artisan bakery manufacturer, founded in 1899. They are looking for an experienced Despatch & Customer Service Coordinator to join their team.

The Position

Our client is looking for a methodical, bright individual who has a keen eye for detail and who can take responsibility for the order processing and despatching of goods for the manufacturing plant.

You will play a key role in the achievement of right first-time shipment performance.

Role responsibility but not limited to:-

  • Processing customer orders
  • Sending out order confirmations
  • Dispatching orders
  • Booking in orders from customers
  • Arranging transport
  • Processing delivery notes
  • Dealing with customer queries as they arise
  • Answering telephones and dealing with queries
  • Liaise with all relevant departments where necessary

Ideal attributes

  • Professional telephone manner
  • Excellent time management and able to prioritise workload efficiently and effectively
  • Excellent computer skills including word and excel
  • Methodical and able to communicate at all levels
  • You will have excellent analytical, communication and decision-making skills as well as a strong ability to plan and organise

This role would ideally suit an individual who has previous experience within a manufacturing business.
