We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Cargo Agent, based near Heathrow Airport.

This is a ongoing temp role £12ph - Monday to Friday 9-5pm

The role Involves:

  • Providing high quality customer service to both internal and external customers. Address and resolve irregularities using Hermes Service Management and Service Recovery processes.
  • Assist customers with various queries such as but not limited to cargo tracing, BI requests and delivery details. Piece count, agent nominations, assist airline-nominated phone-out agents, assist customers with found cargo, resolving mis deliveries.
  • Daily support for the Import desk, including monitoring and updating all import shipments on the Import pending list. Reconcile import bond checks and conduct recounts of cargo. Use Dexory report to assist with import bond checks.
  • Complete reports, including VCT, BIP list and flight departures.
  • Investigate UTL’s conduct warehouse checks, trace with airlines, and update agents accordingly.
  • Liaise with warehouse regarding flight breaks and UTLs.
  • Adopt a proactive work ethic, anticipating and preventing handling issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all Company Regulations, including security and health and safety guidelines.
  • Ad hoc duties when required for senior management.

You will need a 5 year check and DBS for the above role.
