Our client, a leading company in the travel industry, is seeking a passionate and customer-focused individual to join their team as a Customer Service Advisor. As a key member of the Guest Services and Guest Relations teams, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service to our suite guests throughout their journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the priority telephone line, providing excellent customer service to suite guests and upholding the business's culture.
  • Reach out to suite guests through outbound pre-cruise telephone calls, ensuring all calls are logged and summarised.
  • Contact guests 72 hours after their return, logging and summarising each call.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve service for suite guests and implement agreed-upon enhancements.
  • Assist with obtaining information for all guests, ensuring compliance.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency in addressing guest inquiries, adapting and prioritising tasks as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments, onboard teams, and external partners.
  • Perform any additional tasks or duties as required by the organisation.

Key Attributes:

  • Proven experience in customer service, preferably within the travel industry.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour.
  • Proficient in written correspondence for guests, with strong letter writing skills.
  • Discretion and an understanding of handling confidential issues.
  • Familiarity with communication-based software packages.

Additional Information:

  • The initial eight weeks will involve training within the Guest Services and Guest Relations Team.
  • The working week is Monday - Friday, with a combination of office-based and remote work.
  • Weekend work may be required and on these occasions, a day of in lieu during the week will be given.
  • Office-based work will be in Purfleet, Essex.
  • Work hours will be 0900hrs - 1730hrs (Mon-Fri), with weekend hours to be agreed upon in advance.
  • 20 days holidays + bank holidays, pension scheme, parking on site and discounted holidays.
  • You must be a car driver due to the location of the business.
