Customer Service Administrator - Kent

Opportunity:

Are you the Customer Service Administrator my client is looking for? Do you have experience in dealing directly with customers or patients on the phone and email? Have you got good IT and administration skills? If yes then this is the role for you.

Your role as a Customer Service Administrator based in Kent will involve being the first point of contact for all the customers via phone and email for drug products.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Processing drug orders, making up internal order files and preparing quotations and statements of works.
  • Preparing labelling and all documentation for dispatch.
  • Invoicing the customers.
  • Liaising with couriers for importing and exporting of drug orders.
  • Closing internal order files making sure all relevant documentation is present and correctly signed off and scanned onto Oracle.
  • Performing all the administrative work related to the job (photocopying, faxing, arranging couriers to the customers, etc.).
  • Standing in and performing the duties of the other members of the Customer Service during periods of absence.
  • Answering the telephone, handling and recording enquiries.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.

This is a 6 months contract based in Kent, which will be reviewed for a possible extension or go permanent but this is dependent on the candidate and business performance. The PAYE rate is £12.20 per hour.

Skills:

  • Successful experience in customer service, administration or patient-centric roles.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills (e.g. professional telephone manner).
  • Good IT proficiency (including Microsoft Office).
