Customer Service Administrator

Tameside - Office Based

Our Client, a growing packaging company based in Tameside now has an excellent opportunity for a Customer Service Administrator to join their friendly team.

Supplying a variety of industries including food, automotive and pharma - our client focuses on providing a friendly efficient service to both new and existing customers.

You will be the first point of contact for the customers, assisting them with inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about products or services.

You will be responsible for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.

Responsibilities

  • Responding to customer enquiries
  • Presenting and following up quotations.
  • Oversee sales process from start to finish.
  • Resolving customer complaints and issues in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Communicating and coordinating with internal departments to resolve customer issues.
  • Provide potential and existing customers with the highest level of customer service.
  • Develop long term collaborative relationships with customers.
  • Making outbound calls to generate sales from lapsed and new potential customers.
  • Taking opportunities to cross and upsell products.
  • Processing orders, checking stocks and booking in deliveries.
  • Working closely with our warehouse on paperwork and day to day queries.
  • Keeping records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Chasing expected regular customers orders.
  • Communicating and coordinating with internal departments to resolve customer issues.
  • Identifying and escalating priority issues.

Requirements

  • Proven customer services experience.
  • Regular contact with customers to ensure repeat orders are placed.
  • Strong phone skills and active listening.
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Planning and organising skills.
  • Ability to prioritise own workload.
  • Keen interest in learning about Products.
  • Taking the extra mile to engage with customers.
