Barker Munro recruitment have a new role as a Customer Retentions Advisor working for a long-established broker with an exceptional reputation for customer service. This role offers a great opportunity to further your insurance career and will support you in your insurance CII studies, should you wish to take these on.

We are looking for an ambitious individual who is capable of providing outstanding customer service to existing clients but with a focus on ensuring they stay with the business and look to retain their insurance policy. This opportunity will suit someone who ideally already has a track record of customer retention or who can demonstrate a proven track record in delivering excellent customer Service within a client focused office environment.

The role of Customer Retentions advisor is a multi-faceted role, which requires the ability to multi task and understand the needs of the client in order to create and maintain long term relationships with customers. As a self-motivated friendly individual, there will be an expectation to show initiative, be organised and be driven to provide fantastic service and expert advice to clients.

You will work at the heart of their expanding local insurance business where Insurance knowledge would be a lovely thing to have but it isn’t essential. We’re keen to source the right fit of person who can then learn the insurance business but who can understand how to demonstrate trust and integrity with the clients at all times in order to retain their business. Some experience and exposure of customer service and working in an office and answering calls as well as dealing with customers in person are all the skills that are required.

The salary is competitive and the position is full time standard office hours of 9am - 5pm, five days a week. There may be occasional weekend work during the course of the year.

The role is 100% based within the office.
