Our client is seeking a Level 2 Customer Liaison Officer to joining there expanding team in Rochester, Kent for a 6 month fixed term contract.

About the role:

• Reporting to one of the Customer Team Leaders, you’ll work closely with colleagues in the Customer Team and across the organisation, to deliver the best outcome for customers by taking ownership of a wide range of customer cases. You’ll manage cases where judgment is required either face-to-face in customer homes, or on the telephone, dealing with cases of moderate complexity.
• This is a fantastic opportunity to play a role in the transformation of the delivery of services to our customers. You’ll act as an 'ambassador’ on daily basis, working with agencies such as the Police and Social Services to deliver the right outcomes and solutions for customer..
• You’ll also share best practice, and coach / support colleagues as required.

About You:

• It goes without saying that you’ll have fantastic customer service skills.
• You’ll also be able to work effectively with colleagues across the organisation.
• You’ll have a good knowledge of relevant legislation, and a proven track record of effectively managing a portfolio of cases.
• You’ll also need to hold a driving licence, and be able to use your own car for work purposes.
• A relevant housing qualification would be useful, but is not essential.
• Basic-level Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) clearance is required for this role.

You’ll have experience of working within the housing sector, or with people in housing need, in some or all of the following disciplines;

• Debt & welfare benefits advice
• Tenancy management
• Tenancy sustainment
• Anti-social behaviour
• Housing need.
